BOMB ALERT AT TRUMP’S DOONBEG LUXURY RESORT AS PRESIDENT SPEAKS AT DAVOS

A bomb alert at Donald Trump’s luxury golf resort in County Clare has been lifted after Gardaí were called to the hotel and golf links last night.

A statement from the Garda Press Office said a call was received alerting Gardaí to a suspicious package at a premises in West Clare on Wednesday evening.

A cordon was put in place around the area, and the services of the Defence Forces’ Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team (EOD) were requested.

The package was subsequently deemed safe, and the cordon has now been lifted.

Investigations are ongoing, and Gardaí say no further information is available at this time.

The alert comes as the resort makes preparations for the 2026 Amgen Irish Open, which is due to be played at the resort between September 10th and 13th this year.
