OLIVIA DUNNE SHOWS OFF IMPRESSIVE BALANCE BEAM SKILLS AHEAD OF FIFTH YEAR WITH LSU GYMNASTICS

Olivia Dunne is getting ready for her fifth year as an LSU Tiger.

The national championship winning gymnast, who recently confirmed she will return to college for one final season, shared a video of herself practicing some new skills on the balance beam.

The 21-year-old took to her Instagram Story on Thursday, where she posted a clip from a practice session in the gym.

She was seen doing a flip and sticking the landing, captioning the post, 'Summer fun!'

Dunne helped LSU's gymnastics program win its first NCAA Championship back in April.

Three months later, she told fans she wasn't ready to leave the mat just yet.

'These past four years have changed my life. There is something about putting on a purple and gold leotard,' she wrote a social media.

'And no matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there's just something about LSU. And that's why I'm here to say, I'm not done yet,' she added.

'Here's to year 5, baby.'

Before returning to university in the Fall, Dunne is heading to Paris, where she'll be rooting for the 'GOAT' Simone Biles at the 2024 Paris Olympics

The blonde beauty recently gushed over the seven-time Olympic medalist.

'Simone has always been a GOAT and I think that this is like her revenge tour. What happened in 2020 was a freak thing and I think that she is out for revenge,' Dunne told Sports Illustrated on the red carpet at the ESPY Awards last week.

'She is going to probably win,' Dunne added.

Of course, Dunne was referencing the Tokyo Olympics, where Biles withdrew from the all-around competition due to the 'twisties.'

The condition is a state of mind in which gymnasts cannot recognize where they are in the air during a routine.

At 27, Biles is now the oldest member of the team, and is slated to compete in a full range of events over the next two weeks.
