'SO HARD TO SAY BYE' JESSICA O'MAHONY MARKS HUBBY'S FINAL MUNSTER MATCH

Jessica O'Mahony celebrated her husband in style on Saturday night, as the rugby star played his final game in Cork.

Peter O'Mahony couldn't have wished for a better send-off as he togged out for his last ever home game for Munster.

Of course, the momentous occasion called for one thing: a cocktail-filled night out. Jessica and Conor Murray's wife Joanna both took to social media to document their kids-free glamorous celebrations, painting the town red for Munster.

'Mothers let loose,' the pair joked, as Joanna, who is mum to baby Alfie, posed with her leg over mum-of-three Jessica. The Derry girl opted for a one-shouldered ruffled black dress, while Jessica wore a figure-hugging pink and red mini look.

The stylish ladies were joined by fellow rugby wives, Aisling Colwell, Zita Ryan, and Kelly Archer on the big day, as they sipped pornstar martinis in the sun. Jessica shared a snap of the group at Musgrave Park, writing: 'So hard to say bye to @munsterrugby.'

Jessica shared a sweet snap of Peter and Conor from a day earlier, in which they were a far cry from the tough players they appear to be on the pitch. She showed the pair helping assemble toys for baby Alfie in the living room.

'Bit different to yesterday,' she joked in a post shared on social media.

By all accounts, Peter ended his career in club rugby in style with an impressive win against the Italian side Benetton that saw the team also secure a bonus point.

The 35-year-old was instrumental in securing a penalty for Munster and nabbing some impressive steals before ending his time at Thomand to a standing ovation from those in the stands.

That included his wife Jessica, their children and, sweetly, both of their mothers who led the cheers.

Peter's mum, Caroline, couldn't resist marking the milestone moment with a hilarious send-up to the viral moment during the World Cup when a fan waved a sign asking after Peter's lawn in a nod to his passion for gardening.

At the time, Caroline joked that she was looking after Peter's lawn and kept the joke going on Friday.

Jessica posted a picture of her with a new sign that read: 'I'm Peter O'Mahony's mum and I'm retiring from mowing the lawn!!!!'

After he was replaced in the match, Peter joined Jessica and their children in the stands to watch the game, where he was congratulated by fans, including one very well-known face.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin was front and centre on the night and couldn't resist snapping a picture of Caroline's sign.

More pictures from the day show the family posing with the team mascot, and Jess captioned the heartfelt moment saying: 'Such a fun and special evening for Pierre's last home game for Munster.
